New Year, New Villages

Happy New Year! We’ve got an exciting announcement to make.

Over the last few months, Rachel and I have been working with a manufacturer based in China to print a large new print run of the Villages base game. We have approved the physical sample and all of the layout files, and they are now moving into full production!

The lower price point of this print run is going to allow us to sell more copies for a lower price on Amazon and enable customers to use their free Prime shipping. We’ll also be able to send copies of Villages to retail game stores. This is something we should have done a long time ago; it’s been almost 6 years since the Villages Kickstarter campaign, but it’s still our most popular game.

Learning the ins and outs of international production is going to help us with our future projects as well. If Villages comes out well, we may hire the same manufacturer to produce the Villages big box with all of the expansions.

We’re excited to finally take the next step toward being a full-fledged game publisher. Thank you to everyone who supported us in 2019, and we look forward to meeting you again in 2020.
