Make Life More Fun
Welcome to the new Fridgecrisis Games website! If this is your first visit, my name is Jaron Frost, and I’ve got a goal:
To me, making life more fun can mean a lot of different things. I’ve always loved playing games with my family and friends, and over time I’ve discovered how much I enjoy making my own games, too. It quickly grew from being an occasional hobby to something I was investing serious time and energy into. When I finished designing Villages, my first card game, in 2012 and I wanted to share it with other people, I figured I’d start a little business and see how it went. That’s when Fridgecrisis Games was born.
Since then, it’s been amazing and humbling to see how Villages has made a difference in other people’s lives. One year at Christmas time, a mom sent me an email saying that Villages was the only item on her son’s wish list. Another time, a couple told me that their memory of Villages is of playing it while waiting at the hospital for their child to be born. I’m so grateful to have been a part of moments like this. It leaves me speechless.
These moments remind me how important it is to stay involved with people and give back to the community around me. So that’s another part of my goal to make life more fun: to connect with others, and to help them connect with each other. Tabletop games are a great way to bring people together, whether it’s at a party with a few friends or a big family gathering. Even for someone shy and anxious like me!
And who knows where we’ll go from here? Fridgecrisis Games is still growing a little every day, and I hope that together, we can find ways to make life more fun for people from all walks of life, all over the world. Thanks for stopping by, and I’ll see you next time!
