Store Closing

Published by Jaron on

Hey all. Things around here haven’t changed a lot since my last post. I’m still working on video games professionally and on the side — I’ll link a few of my recent projects below, if you want to check them out. A few of them are pretty good! But I haven’t made real progress on any physical card games in a long while.

And that leads me to some news. The store pages here have been open and functional for a long time. We started taking orders soon after our Kickstarter campaign in 2014, and have been keeping it going ever since. I feel so much appreciation and gratitude for every person who ever bought anything from our little online store — thank you so much.

But over the last couple years, I haven’t done a good job of showing it. I’ve let orders pile up and fall behind, sometimes by an entire month or longer. You deserve prompt responses and shipping, and I’ve dropped that ball hard. So I just wanted to let everyone know that I’ve set the quantities of all of our products to 0, to stop sales. If I someday come back to projects like Villages and revive things around here, it will be with a new commitment of time and energy, to provide the level of responsiveness you deserve and that I can be proud of.

Villages and its expansions are still available in print-on-demand form at The Game Crafter, at https://www.thegamecrafter.com/games/villages. The cost of printing has gone up by a lot, and I don’t think I’m making any money from them anymore, but the option is there.

I think the Tabletop Simulator mod is still working, too, if you want to play it digitally (and another huge thanks to TurboGFF for making that happen in the first place and maintaining it all this time): https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=357332099

And finally, here’s some other stuff I’ve been doing:

Thank you all again so much for sticking with us all these years. Saying that makes me feel very old, but it really has been over a decade, somehow.
